<p>HOMES and businesses were left to mop up over the weekend as storms battered the region.</p>

<p>Houses and pubs were flooded, rivers burst their banks and roads were left swamped in water following torrential downpours overnight on Friday and Saturday.</p>

<p>And weather forecasters warned of more downpours this morning and a further soaking for water-logged North Wales.</p>

<p>Emergency services were kept busy over the weekend following the heavy downpours.</p>

<p>Three men had a lucky escape after their caravan was blown over a wall and into a river.</p>

<p>Two of the men managed to scramble out after their terrifying tumble but a third was stuck in the wrecked caravan and had to be rescued by firefighters.</p>

<p>The freak accident happened on the A4086 at Afon Nant Peris, Nant Peris Pass, on Friday night.</p>
